Led by Music Director and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra lead trombonist Vincent Gardner, the JLCO with Wynton Marsalis will perform the most skillfully crafted and sophisticated songs in popular music from the ‘60’s to today, debuting new jazz arrangements for our orchestra. Among others, they will revisit the hits of Stevie Wonder (“Another Star,” “Smile Please”) and Donny Hathaway (“Sugar Lee,” “For All We Know”), as well as timeless classics including “Eleanor Rigby” by The Beatles and “Your Song” by Elton John.
